For a lot of companies, care of the environment is becoming a necessity that they have to adjust to in order to satisfy market requests whilst also obeying regulatory requirements.
The Codognotto Group has always placed great care on the how our work affects the environment. In the last few years, thanks to the latest technologies and the most innovative instruments, we have started to put in place a series of concrete initiatives.
The first step has been the internal development of an environmental policy, which has allowed the implementation of an environmental management system, compliant with regulation ISO 14000:2004. In the security and environmental fields, this guarantees the compliance of all European regulations and has allowed the achievement of obtaining a Certificate of Excellence.
These policies are in place to oppose the negative impacts on the environment, by limiting any source of pollution, whilst also recycling the waste deriving from the company activities.
Just to minimise the emission of greenhouse gasses into the atmosphere, our fleet of vehicles is constantly renewed and are up to date with the Euro 5. In addition to this, our fleet are equipped with the most recent satellite system, which allows the optimisation of the running of the Lorry and it also helps to reduce waste miles.
