Inauguration of the new logistic hub of Codognotto in San Stino di Livenza (VE) Italy

San Stino di Livenza (VE) Italy - On Saturday 20th May 2017 Codognotto Group inaugurated the new warehouse of 24.000 m2.

The new hub is in the building realized in the 90's by Lucefin. Codognotto Group and Lucefin worked together for converting the storehouse's use that today hosts different costumers with specific features and needs as Vega, supplying the Triveneto Area, Arper and Abm, managing goods for the worldwide.

The new Codognotto warehouse is strategically located as it is few minutes far from the highway and a railway junction potentially, accessible directly from the hub.

Starting from the next month more then 50 employees will daily manage 6.000 shipments growing to 8.000 during the next 2 months with 70 employees.

After the welcome greetings of the authorities and the benediction by the priest, there was the guided visit of the building.

The CEO, Maurizio Codognotto, highlighted the centrality of the person as driver of the growth of the company: from € 10 M in the 2000 to € 190 M in the 2016.

Manuel Scaramuzza, the Contract Logisctics Director, explained that this inauguration doesn't represents the arrival point as we're already looking at the next opening in Milan on September 2017.

The event was valued by the performance of the international artist Pierluigi Slis who dedicated the paint to Codognotto Group. He explained how the work and the effort are the characteristics that dignify the humanity. 

The more then 4 meters paint shows different planets and worlds connected each other with thin strings: transports and logistics will bring us to go beyond the distances that today seem insuperable.
